Baptist Church Cemetery where some 40 to 50 Burruses are buried.
Rockford is a village that is located 10 miles south of Dobson, NC, the
present County Seat of Surry County.
Anyone with information on the
genealogy of Thomas Burrus, born in Virginia in 1779, who married Nancy
Tucker
of the Haystack Community of Surry County NC which couple had
